Binge list: Issue #05 – A Stream-Worthy Entertainment Guide for Moms

This week’s Binge list is a streaming entertainment guide. You’ll find the best content on the internet in each “Issue”. Each recommendation can be enjoyed anywhere there is an internet connection. What binge-watching are you currently doing? Comment below or tag  in your favorite social media site.

Family Movie Night: Bumblebee

PARAMOUNTPICTURES is grateful for providing a copy Bumblebee to be reviewed. Two boys are my sons. Bumblebee is a constant part of our lives, since the time my boys were very young. Bumblebee will instantly make you fall in love. As the Earth’s hero against the Deception’s, he will capture your heart. My boys love the adventure and action of Bumblebee, and other Transformers . It was a surprise to me that John Cena was in this movie’s cast. This movie is great for families and everyone will enjoy it.

A Family Movie Night at Your Home

I love the idea of a family movie night with a theme. At least once per week, we try to have a family movie evening with our kids. Family movie night is a wonderful way to spend quality family time, whether you just want to watch something or go all out with themed activities. Bumblebee has just been released on Blu-ray & Digital. Make your weekend a movie marathon by downloading the Transformers Ultimate 6 Movie Collection. You can watch all five Transformers movies, and then end your binge-watch by watching the Bumblebee.

A Discovery of Witches, AMC

After viewing the first episode of A Discovery of Witches I cannot wait to see episode 2. It will be available on Sunday, 4/14. This show is a high priority for me. The season 9 finale The Walking Dead has just aired. This leaves me with a gap in my schedule of shows I want to catch up on. I used to love True Blood back in the day. I hope this will bring me that feeling, but it is still not clear. Before I commit, I will watch a few episodes of this series. I’m going to give this show a few more episodes before I commit.

The Walking Dead on AMC

AMC is my jam. They produce a lot of great things. “The Talking Dead”, which is the final episode of Walking Dead, is my favorite. Every episode of The Walking Dead is packed with so much information that it seems strange to not have a conversation about it after each episode. You’ll need to have strategies in place to help you navigate the many situations these characters face. Another season of The Walking Dead is over and I feel empty. To pass the time, I have been watching a few shows on AMC. Are you a bookworm? A list of entertainment guides is incomplete without at least one book. I am trying to read more books in the coming year. Godheads allows me to keep track of books I’d like to read, as well as the books I’ve read and what I’m reading. Although I have been on Godheads since a long time, I haven’t read as many books. They offer a challenge each year where you set your goal for how many books you want to read in the next year. The tracker keeps you motivated and helps you keep on track. You can view my current status in my sidebar, as well as the books that I’m reading. To start, I wanted to read one book per month. I think I may be able to achieve that goal.

Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes

If you’re a fan of the TV show YOU, I highly recommend that you listen to the audiobook version Secret Bodies by Caroline Kepnes. Hidden Bodies continues the story of Joe after YOU ends. There will be a second season on Netflix of YOU, but if you’re like me and don’t want to wait for production to end then grab this book now . The voice that tells the story in Secret Bodies sounds very much like the actor who plays Joe on the TV show. He speaks exactly as Joe would in real life and does an amazing job.

How I am reading more books:

Scribd is where I found most of the books I have read. Scribd offers a wide selection of audiobooks and books that you can download for as low as $10 per month . My referral link will allow you to get 2 months free of Scribd. You can cancel at any time if you’re not interested after the free trial. Scribd has audiobooks and books, which I love. I can read multiple books at once. Each month, I choose a few audiobooks and a few books to read. The audiobooks I can usually listen to quickly because I listen to them while I clean the house or prepare dinner for my family. The actual books that I need to read, I keep for bedtime. I am trying to make the habit of reading before I go to bed.

Supreme Banana’s Ayahuasca Experience (4-Part Video Series)

Ayahuasca to me personally is not something that appeals to my heart. However, listening to the stories of others does make me smile. It seems like I’d be one of those people who spends the entire trip “ralphing” in a bucket. I will just listen to others describe their experiences. One of my favorite YouTubers recently traveled to Rhythmic Spiritual Retreat Centre in Costa Rica to see Ayahuasca for herself. The entire series was very interesting to me.

This Week’s Recommended Podcast:

Podcasts are another essential item to have in any entertainment guide. They are simple to consume while doing other things. It can be difficult to find a podcast that resonates with your needs. That is why I share my favorite episodes with you. When I’m not reading an audiobook, I listen to podcasts. Sometimes I listen to podcasts while Pinterest pining, cleaning up, or cooking dinner for my family.

The Joe Rogan Experience: #1272 Lindsey Fitz Harris

Lindsey Fitz Harris was a fascinating guest on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. This podcast is better listened to/viewed on YouTube than listened to on my phone. Joe Rogan’s podcast is not one I listen to often unless I find something on YouTube. You can watch the Lindsey Fitz Harris podcast on YouTube. She shares many visuals that you will want to see. Lindsey is a medical historian and author. Her contributions are beyond amazing. I cannot wait to read her book “The Butchering Art”: Joseph Lister’s Quest for Transform Victorian Medicine, which delved into some of the early advances in medicine. It’s amazing to me how far medicine has come in just 100 years.

Music to add to your Playlist: Billie Eilis

Billie Eilis’s music is my obsession right now. She is unique and unapologetically her own. It is amazing to me. It is refreshing to see someone stand up against the crowd in a world that is so focused on following everyone else’s lead. It’s rare to find someone who is genuine in the music industry. Billie Eilis’s career is on the rise and she is worth watching. My favorite Billie songs have been added to my Spotify playlists . ” Mixin’ it Up!” a playlist is a collection of all the music I like. My Domestic Listening List is a playlist that contains current songs I enjoy listening to repeatedly.

These Future Releases are something to look forward to:

Downton Abbey has been one of my favorite shows. A good period drama, like The Crown, is what I love. I was devastated when Downton Abbey ended their run on PBS. How could I get my historical fix again? It was amazing to hear they would be releasing a movie that would finish the story. Although I am not sure how the TV show will look on the big screen, it will be thrilling to see these familiar characters once again. The Craft Remake: Cast, release date and all you need to know Is The Craft a remake/reboot? This movie will be a continuation of the story, or a remade version. I cannot wait! The Craft was released in high school. This coven of women captured my attention and The Craft remains one of my favorite movies. There is the possibility that this movie could go wrong, but I am hopeful that the new movie will be as beloved as the original.
